Time out for camping
Author: SueFINALLY! I’m over whatever that cold/flu thing was that I had for about a month. What a nuisance. Bright side though: I lost some more weight! I won’t know how much ’til I get home but the jeans are pretty baggy in the butt.
This week I’m (along with my husband and our puppy) at Stephen Foster State Park on the Okefenokee Swamp Nature Reserve in south-central Georgia. We’ve been hiking most days of our vacation along with a little canoeing. I’ve included a few photos we took on tour in the swamp here. A very interesting journey…

Portaging to the swamp

No canoe launching here today
Imagine — this is the type of activity you’ll have time for when your business business reaches high 5-figure or 6-figure income. To learn more on how to reach that income goal, contact me – I’ve got a SWEET OFFER lined up for January 2010 (hint: private coaching; awesome investment) for a very limited number of people (another hint: it’s going to be first-come, first-served).
My husband and I normally fit in 6-8 weeks, sometimes 12 weeks, of camping each year. He’d prefer more, I’d prefer less (since we live in a beautiful home amongst 430 acres of wildlife and nature). Admittedly, it’s not your average style of ‘camping’ but we prefer it this way (I think 1/2 century on the planet should have some rewards — such as a warm bed, fridge, shower, etc., don’t you?)
I’m off to work on my ezine (sign up here) so that it will be ready to upload the next time I have internet. We’re off to Edisto State Park (near Charleston) in South Carolina tomorrow morning bright and early as we begin our homeward trek while avoiding snow as long as possible.
There are some amazing workshops and plans in the offing for 2010 — I’ll be posting more about them here so keep your eyes open. For the most details, sign up for my newsletter
I leave you with a couple of parting photos from the Okefenokee Swamp…

Hi, Sue, t
Thanks for the photos! Oh, my gosh, that truly is a swamp, complete with alligators, and trees growing in water. Are those birds herons or egrets or something else? Lovely! Yep, I’m with you. My style of camping is not “tents and roughing it.” A bed, a frig, running water, oh yeah! Have a great time, and enjoy! Love what you’re doing with your business!

I look forward to receiving your newsletter and applying the tips.
Looks like you have some interesting new ventures coming up.
2010 is going to be awesome.

Love, love that photo with the white birds against the intense blue sky. (The white did make me think of snow at first!)
So now, just HOW close did you get to those long-jawed, sharp toothed critters?
Baggy butt jeans – gotta love it!

Great to ’see’ you on my blog, Sheryl. The BIG gator was about 15 feet away (the one blocking the boat launch). The little guys on our canoe tour, I’d say within 10′ or so.
Bonus on the jeans, although I didn’t lose any weight, I didn’t GAIN any either! Not bad for 5 weeks on a trip (and we ate homemade dinner rolls almost every night and had pie with frozen yogurt a couple times a week … I don’t do that at home!)
New post coming out tomorrow

2010 is going to be more than awsome — it’s going to be a [t]Sunami of Success! (teeheehee … you know what that means, but most people reading do not … yet)
